What The Menopause Test Includes
Both FSH and LH are hormones that are produced in the brain by the pituitary gland. They are responsible for supporting normal ovary function and a regular menstrual cycle.
Oestradiol is the primary female sex hormone. In addition to supporting ovulation and pregnancy, oestradiol supports healthy cholesterol levels and bone structure.
Please note that recent studies have demonstrated that blood samples collected via a finger-prick may result in a sample that shows oestradiol results that are 20% lower than in a sample collected via a venous draw. Please see our Terms and Conditions or ask in branch for further information.
