If you’re following a gluten-free diet, the Scottish Gluten Free Food Service can enhance your dietary options. This NHS service allows you to order and collect gluten-free food through your local pharmacy rather than visiting your GP.

How to Access the Service

Starting this service is very straightforward. Follow these steps:

Consult Your GP – Verify your eligibility and find out the number of gluten-free units you can receive each month.

Obtain a Registration Form – Your GP will provide a signed form for you to submit to us.

Registration at Pharmacy – After submitting the form, our pharmacist will register you and explain how to access the food list and place orders.

Eligibility – Available for those with the appropriate condition
