What is tested?

The PocDoc Heart Health Check looks at 5 lipid markers via a quantitative lateral flow test.

These lipid markers are:

• High density lipoprotein (HDL)
• Non-high density lipoprotein (Non-HDL)
• Triglycerides
• Total cholesterol
• Total cholesterol and HDL ratio

1. Book an appointment at your local pharmacy branch

2. One of our trained team members will help you to download the PocDoc app and complete the health questionnaire

3. A finger-prick blood sample will be taken to complete the PocDoc lateral flow test

4. After just 7 minutes, colour changes will be visible on the test

5. Upload a photograph of the test to the PocDoc app, which will analyse these colour changes and provide you with instant results

6. One of our trained team members will discuss your results with you and whether there are any actions you might want to take in order to support your health
