Palliative care service

Introduction

Through our palliative care service, our pharmacies provide palliative care drugs to patients who require access to them quickly. This palliative care service ensures that people who need urgent treatment can get a range of drugs, even outside of standard opening hours.

Many palliative care medications are not always stocked by community pharmacies, as they are not used to treat other conditions. However, we have a varied stock of these available if they are needed quickly by a palliative care patient.
